  1. Name of the scheme – MAHABANK INSTA REMIT SCHEME (RTGS) Customer services – funds transfer

    Under the scheme services are expanded to the customers for funds transfer from one Bank/Branch to another Bank/Branch. Thus there will be two types of customer related inter bank funds transfers as under:

    1. when BoM customer wants to transfer funds to another bank/branch
    2. other bank/branch customer wants to transfer funds to BoM customer.

  2. Services available at branches
    • For funds transfer both the branches of two different banks must be RTGS enabled.
    • Customer will have to fill up a request cum application form and accept terms and conditions.
    • Customer to mention correct and complete details such as bank/branch, IFSC code, name and account number of the beneficiary etc. in an application form.
    • Such request will be accepted taking into account the timing stipulated by RBI which at present is as under:
    • Operating session Timing
      Customer payments 0900 – 1430
    • System assures credit within two hours during normal course

  3. Charges
    No charges for any inward messages - For outward messages : FREE

  4. Business rules
    As per RBI instructions/guidelines only
