Fictitious offers of cheap funds from abroad- Awareness campaign
The Public and our valued clients are hereby cautioned about spurt in incidents of fraudulent communication regarding fictitious offer of cheap funds in foreign currency. Mails, letters, SMS purportedly issued by RBI giving details of teasing offers, prizes, fictitious schemes, lotteries etc are sent to targeted people. As a precedence to receive the prize money, fraudsters collect processing fees/ tax clearance charges/ conversion charges/ clearing fees etc. Our valued clients and the public are cautioned not to fall prey to such teasing offers.
